For my second year in Design school, we were given the task of creating a calendar, based off of a subject we enjoyed, and to show what we have learned about typography. I am personally fascinated with astrophysics, and astronomy, which lead me to pin-point every star position over two months. What makes this calendar so special, is the fact that every dot indicates a star and it’s exact movement through the night sky through January 1st, 2014, to February 28th, 2014. Placement of the typography was used to help show how bright the stars would get as the year went on, and how the position of the stars were not always right above you, but at a slight angle.
