Problem: For the Spring and Summer Cross Category Nike gear, the agency was tasked with creating platform friendly creative solution assets for their product launches.
Process: I helped to create a few wireframes for the Summer stories, and worked with Nike’s guidelines for UI design, to complete a finished site from desktop to email and mobile platforms. AKQA worked with Nike to create the imagery, and for summer I wanted to convey a sunset gradient resembling those of sunny LA. (Where these images were taken).
Solution: After the final layout design was approved by Nike, which ended up being the sunset gradient behind the product info and high-quality imagery, we handed off specific file assets for all breakpoints. This was well received by Nike, and customers enjoyed the colorful solution.
*A perk of working on Nike, was that I also got to work on the audio and intro sequence on the first Outside The Box. video, and created the captions for the second Outside The box, (a series of highlights on prominent figures in the Nike community).
