Freeway Portal/Internal Tool

Problem: We were tasked with a rehaul of the internal portal for our Dealership agents and their most common tools. The business goal overall is to have a central location for the agents tools, in order to increase productivity, decrease overhead and inconsistent processes. Overall in order to save the business time and money.
Process: After a research session with Dscout and our agents, we quickly found that having a tool similar to other product tools with everything they need to interact with each day in one place, we decided to move this into concepting. This included adding a section of announcements, within a page of quick links, and easy to access profile and navigation.
Solution: With multiple rounds of narrowing concepts, finalizing the polish of interaction and UI of the flow, prototyping the solution to present to stakeholders, and approval that lead to the creation of the handoff file for engineers, and a clean new portal that agents love to use. It has a clear navigation, Desktop-forward (based on user needs), and clear hierarchy and layout that is reminiscent of other product tools.
